Play based learning is core to everything we do at Birra-Li. We develop programs that balance spontaneous experiences with purposeful teaching to nurture curiosity and creativity, and to support each childʼs growth and confidence.

Our curriculums are guided by the principles and practices in the Early Years Learning Framework (Belonging, Being & Becoming), with a focus on supporting each individual childʼs development. We recognise that children all develop at their own pace, and empower our children with a sense of agency, encouraging them and their families to participate in decisions that shape their learning and growth.

Our educators carefully consider each childʼs needs and stage of development when planning curriculums.

By drawing on each childʼs interests and strengths, educators can develop a balanced child- and educator-initiated program that enriches the learning experience and supports positive outcomes.

Our Early Childhood Teachers also deliver a 3 & 4-year-old kindy curriculum and school readiness program.
